What's included in a Golf Corner escorted tour?
Our escorted tours are fully organised packages that include return flights coordination, premium hotel accommodation, green fees at championship courses, golf carts or caddies, airport and course transfers, welcome and farewell group dinners, and Paul’s personal hosting throughout the trip. The only extras are your personal spending, travel insurance, and any additional meals outside the group itinerary. Every detail is handled so you can focus on the golf and the experience.
How many golfers are in each tour group?
Our groups typically range from 12 to 24 golfers, depending on the destination and tour format. This size is deliberate — large enough to create a great social atmosphere with competitive tournament formats, but small enough that Paul can personally look after every guest. Many of our travellers come solo or in pairs and quickly become part of the group. With a 78% return rate, the friendships made on tour are a big part of what keeps people coming back.
Do I need a specific handicap to join a tour?
No handicap requirement at all. Our tours welcome golfers of every level, from beginners to low single-figure players. Tour competitions use handicap-adjusted formats so everyone competes on an even footing. The courses we select offer multiple tee options to suit different abilities. Whether you shoot in the 70s or the 100s, the focus is on enjoying world-class courses in great company.
How far in advance should I book an escorted tour?
We recommend booking 3 to 6 months ahead for most destinations. Scotland and Ireland tours for the May to September season can fill 6 to 9 months out due to limited tee time availability at championship links courses. Thailand and Southeast Asian tours have more flexibility but popular departure dates still book out quickly. A $500 deposit secures your place, with the balance due 60 days before departure.
