Phuket Golf Holidays
Phuket is the most popular Thailand golf destination for Australian visitors. The island has over 10 championship courses within 45 minutes of Patong and Kata Beach. Our featured Phuket courses include:- Red Mountain Golf Club: Set in a former tin mine with dramatic elevation changes and views across the rainforest canopy.
- Blue Canyon Country Club: Two championship layouts; two-time host of the Johnnie Walker Classic.
- Loch Palm Golf Club: A scenic, water-heavy layout winding around Crystal Lake.
- Laguna Golf Phuket: Links-style resort course with ocean glimpses from the back nine.
- Phuket Country Club: One of the island's original championship venues, redesigned and consistently well-conditioned.
Hua Hin Golf Holidays
Hua Hin is Thailand's original golf resort town and attracts serious golfers from around the world. Our featured Hua Hin courses include:- Black Mountain Golf Club: Designed by Phil Ryan; has held major Asian Tour events and consistently ranks in Asia's top ten.
- Banyan Golf Club: A long, modern layout with generous bunkering and excellent course conditioning.
- Springfield Royal Country Club: A Jack Nicklaus signature design set across rolling coastal hills.
- Palm Hills Golf Club: A classic resort layout with panoramic views of Hua Hin Bay.
Bangkok Golf Holidays
Bangkok surprises most golfers. More than 60 championship courses sit within an hour's drive of the city centre. Our featured Bangkok courses include:- Alpine Golf Club: Consistently ranked in Asia's top 50; one of the most respected layouts in the country.
- Nikanti Golf Club: A modern challenge with generous fairways and dramatic bunkering.
- Royal Golf and Country Club: A prestigious members club open to Golf Corner guests.
- Thana City Golf and Country Club: A Jack Nicklaus design with a challenging back nine.
Chiang Mai Golf Holidays
Chiang Mai is the choice for golfers who want a completely different experience. The courses sit at higher elevation, surrounded by rice paddies, teak forests, and northern Thailand's mountain ranges. Our featured Chiang Mai courses include:- Alpine Golf Resort Chiang Mai: The benchmark layout in the north; a long parkland course with tree-lined fairways and fast greens.
- Gassan Lake City Golf and Resort: A scenic waterside layout with well-maintained fairways and relaxed atmosphere.
- Mae Jo Golf Club: One of the most picturesque settings in northern Thailand, surrounded by rice paddies and mountains.
Pattaya Golf Holidays
Pattaya has the deepest course lineup of any destination in Thailand. Over 30 golf courses sit within 30 minutes of central Pattaya. Our featured Pattaya courses include:- Siam Country Club Old Course: Venue for the Honda LPGA Thailand; one of the most famous layouts in Asia.
- Siam Country Club Waterside: A more recent addition with a water-heavy design and tournament pedigree.
- Laem Chabang International Country Club: A sprawling 27-hole facility designed by Jack Nicklaus.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is included in a Golf Corner Thailand golf package?
Every package includes hotel accommodation with daily breakfast, all green fees at championship courses, one caddie per golfer per round, golf carts, and private VIP transfers between the airport, hotel, and courses.
Flights, visa fees, caddie tips, and personal expenses are not included. The escorted tour package includes return flights from Perth.
Is golfing expensive in Thailand?
Thailand is one of the most affordable premium golf destinations in the world. A round at a championship course including caddie and cart typically costs between $60 and $120 AUD, compared to $200 or more for a comparable course in Australia.
Golf Corner packages start from $1,095 AUD for a 3-night Bangkok getaway including 3 rounds, accommodation, and transfers.
What is the best golf course in Thailand?
Thailand has dozens of world-class courses. Black Mountain in Hua Hin, Red Mountain and Blue Canyon in Phuket, and Siam Country Club in Pattaya consistently rank among Asia's best.
The best course for you depends on your skill level and which destination appeals most. Golf Corner includes a mix of championship and resort layouts in every package.
When is the best time to play golf in Thailand?
The best months are November through March when conditions are dry and temperatures sit between 25 and 32 degrees. Phuket and southern Thailand are best from December to April.
Chiang Mai in the north is ideal from November to February when mornings are cooler. Golf is playable year-round, but the wet season from June to October can bring afternoon storms.
Do I need to tip my caddie in Thailand?
Yes, tipping your caddie is customary. The standard tip is 300 to 500 Thai Baht per round (roughly $13 to $22 AUD).
Caddies in Thailand are experienced, read greens well, and carry your clubs for the full 18 holes. Their local knowledge genuinely improves your round.
What is the difference between a self-guided package and the escorted tour?
Self-guided packages give you full flexibility. You receive your accommodation, tee times, and transfers, and you explore at your own pace.
The escorted tour is a fixed-date group trip hosted personally by Paul Deans. Flights, accommodation, all 8 rounds, dinners, and daily activities are included. Paul is on the ground with you from arrival to departure.
Can I customise my Thailand golf package?
Absolutely. Every Golf Corner package can be tailored. Contact Paul Deans directly to swap courses, add extra nights, combine two destinations, or adjust the itinerary for your group.
We have been customising Thailand golf trips for Australian golfers since 2003.
