1.1 New Kuta Golf

New Kuta is the default first round for most Australian Bali itineraries. It sits 20 minutes from Ngurah Rai Airport on the limestone cliffs of the Bukit Peninsula, and is within easy transfer distance from south Bali's main hotel corridor in Seminyak, Kuta, and Legian. 1.2 Bali Handara Golf & Resort

Bali Handara is set at 1,150 metres in the volcanic highlands near Mount Batukaru — a cool-climate course in dense jungle unlike anything else on the island. The published green fee at Handara (~AUD $190–195) is comparable to New Kuta. The material difference is the transfer. Handara is 70km from Seminyak — a 90-minute drive each way. For a solo traveller or a pair arranging their own car, the transfer adds AUD $55–75 on top of the round cost. That makes a Handara day an AUD $260–290 commitment before tips, for one person travelling independently.

1.3 Bukit Pandawa Golf & Country Club

Important context before the pricing: Bukit Pandawa is an 18-hole par-3 course, not a par-72 championship layout. A round takes approximately 120 minutes. It is the right choice as a half-day complement within a multi-round Bali itinerary — on a day before or after a flight, or alongside a southern Bali afternoon. It should not be compared directly with New Kuta or Handara on a like-for-like basis.

Bukit Pandawa is the only Bali course in this index with a confirmed weekend surcharge. The platform rate variance (published rates between AUD $115 and AUD $125 on weekdays) is a known inconsistency in how Bali courses manage rates across booking channels. 3. Transfer Costs — The Budget Line Nobody Publishes

In Thailand's Hua Hin, five premium courses sit within 20 minutes of the main hotel strip. Transfers are a rounding error. In Bali, the courses span three distinct geographic zones.
